Amie Osment - Owner/Trainer of AOHP
It all began at summer camp in 2003 and after summer camp in 2004 Amie started in the lesson program at Tuxbury Farm Equestrian Center, this changed her life forever. Since 2004 Amie has gone on to ride professionally in dressage. Earning her USDF Bronze Medal in 2021 aboard her self-trained horse DM Horatio “Shrimp” who has been her long-time equine partner in her junior, young rider, and professional career. Amie has trained and worked with many young horses and all types of breeds. Most notable is her work with Rebel Graffiti, Shoalih’s Tale, DM Horatio, Omni RCS, J.L. Black Magic. She has trained and continues to train with Micah Deligdish of Gemini Dressage in Florida and Leslie Cradock of Leslie Cradock Dressage in Charleston, South Carolina.
Tara Jennings - Mom/Barn Momager
In the summer of 2004 at the conclusion of Amie’s second summer of horse camp, Tara signed her up in the weekly lesson program, unknowingly changing their lives. It sounds a bit dramatic to say it in such a way but it is the truth. With Tara’s unwavering support and commitment to Amie’s passion, dreams, and goals she has dedicated much of her life to supporting the horses financially, running boarding barns, funding lessons and training, purchasing Amie’s horses, and more. Tara had no prior experience with horses before signing Amie up for camp all those years ago, but she quickly found that she loves the horses and barn life equally as much as Amie does. Everything she and Amie do is for their horses. Without Tara’s support over the years and into the future, Amie would not be able to pursue and reach her goals.
